2013 - 2015 > Fire Flies Close to Home, 2014

This work is one of two large-scale gouache and graphite works on paper addressing the ubiquity of guns in American culture. They were made specifically for an exhibition entitled Strange Comfort, curated by Conchi Sanford at the dA Center in Pomona, CA. The patterns in both works are taken directly from used paper targets from a local shooting range.
